I completely forgot that
today is Friday
If you celebrate,
did you get any good gifts
for Christmas this year?
Sorry to those participating in Haiku Friday. With Christmas in the middle of the week this year, I lost track of what day of the week it is. Somehow I think I’m not the only one who forgot, either.
So let’s here it – any noteworthy presents?
To play along for Haiku Friday, follow these steps:
1. Write your own haiku on your blog. You can do one or many, all following a theme or just random. What’s a haiku, you ask? Click here.
2. Sign the Mister Linky below with your name and the link to your haiku post (the specific post URL, not your main blog URL). DON’T sign unless you have a haiku this week. If you need help with this, please let me know.
3. Pick up a Haiku Friday button to display on the post or in your sidebar by clicking the button at the top.
REMEMBER: Do not post your link unless you have a haiku this week! I will delete any links without haiku!
I know! The holiday really throws everything off, doesn’t it. I wrote a haiku and post a photo about our Christmas morning.
I almost forgot, too. 🙂
I’m later than usual, but today is my 100th Haiku Friday … a milestone of sorts ;–)
Hugs and blessings,
It’s a few hours later, but I’m back again with links to Happily Retired Gal and Small Reflections where I’ve posted two more Haiku for the day. Looks like lots of people ‘forgot’ or are busy with other things today.
Hugs and blessings,
Late today. 😉 Seems to be a trend.
Happy Haiku Friday.
I forgot too, saw your post and thought, “Oh, she’s put it up a day early!” Ha.
Forgetting was certainly good fodder for a ku, though.
Goal for 2009: update poetry blog more often. Haiku Friday is a good way to start!
