“Juice!”
“Cordy, that’s not how you ask, is it?”
“Juice, please!”
“Can you say ‘Can I have some juice please?'”
“Some juice, please!”
“No, ‘Can I…have some…juice, please?'”
“Can’t have some juice please!”
“No, no, repeat after me.”
“After me.”
“No, I mean say this…’Can I have some juice please?'”
“I have some juice please?”
“Close! Now, say the whole thing.”
“The whole thing!”
“Ugh! This is going nowhere.”
“No, going to kitchen!”
“Can you ask for juice?”
“Can I… ask for juice, please?”
“Close enough.”

PS – Another review is up! This time for an awesome music DVD called That Baby DVD. See what I thought about it over at Mommy’s Must Haves.
Thanks, I needed that giggle. Look on the bright side, Cordy makes more sense than the vast majority of the people I deal with on a nightly basis-and that’s just the staff. 😉

Hilarious!! Ahhh…I think we’ve all been there! LOL~
LMAO!! She deserves a cookie with that juice!
hope she got the juice after all that!
hilarious.
Good Lord, I’m surprised she lasted so long! I would have smacked ya and said “Damnit, JUICE woman!”
🙂
Yes, she did get her juice.
And just to be clear, we’re trying to make her use full sentences for her speech therapy. Too often she tries to get by with as few words as possible, so that’s why we have these exchanges.
Hehehe, at least you can understand what she is saying. :o)
Hee hee hee. She sure showed you, eh? Did the poor kid finally get some damn juice?
That’s so funny, thanks for the laugh. What a little trooper, she really tried so hard.
that was hysterical! she was trying so hard!
Omigod, she’s a Town Crier! My whole guild did that at Faire! ha ha ha ha ha! Cordy, you are one of us… now, you just have to teach her THE joke: What’s brown and sticky? A stick!
sorry to laugh at the frustration of it all but damn girl – who’s on first, what’s on second!
LOL – thanks for the smile. 🙂
So you’re Abbott and she’s Costello, huh? At least you make a good straight man. And we already know she’s a good funny man.
Gotta love speech therapy… we did that too. Start with requiring words, and work up to sentences.
Hope that was really good juice for how hard she tried! 🙂
I easpecially appreciate this as an SLP!
I love it – you guys are hilarious 🙂
Hahaha Love that made everyone at the office read it – she is funny! Love it! I am sure I will have a lot of that soon! Anymore teeth for the little one?
Hahahaha! Oh man, it’s hard to imagine what life is like when they start talking. I can’t wait.
She’s working hard for the money, er uh, JUICE.
So cute!
Hey, it had a noun and a verb. Good enough for me.
Laughing. Out. Loud.
So is Ug
Cordy’s hilarious!
